WISE Camps

WISE Acadia is dedicated to providing young girls with learning opportunities and mentoring initiatives in STEAM fields. Each July, girls are invited to attend our science camp hosted at Acadia University. Attendees will be given the opportunity to experience a variety of activities to engage them in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. In addition, our science camps focus on the ways in which the integration of arts can enhance learning in STEAM education by encouraging students to think creatively and develop unique solutions to problems. Morning and afternoon education sessions focus on fun, hands-on learning activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Girls are also provided with a popular mentoring session given by female undergraduate students at Acadia, studying a broad spectrum of STEAM subjects. Follow us on Facebook for news relating to the next available dates of the science camp!

WISE Acadia aims to provide girls access to role models active in science and engineering fields through mentorships, webinars, and science camps.
